and now to begin anew… a breath
a glance
something Hope left us…

without we are forgotten
lost souls, unable to cry
memories carried by the wind.

the trees have swelled in girth, fallen around us
the sky changed a million times
in earths rotation

round and round… and around.

people, skeletons
their bones grown old
their youth-bereft faces
bidding the world farewell.

and still we remain… the watchers on the plane

as daughters, young husbands
touch hands, embrace

all begins anew.
