This is not a UFO. It’s actually the moon.
Lots of people argue over whether UFO’s actually exist – for me, the technical answer is simple. They are Unidentified Flying Objects. So if it flies, and you don’t know what it is, it’s a UFO. Even a bird could be one. A frisbee.
So yeah 😀
This one is an aeroplane, although if I said it was an alien spaceship it could be believable xD Our house seems to be directly under a main flight path…. I suppose a lot of people feel that way. Planes are everywhere. You get different types all the different seasons. There’s one particular one that likes to tow gliders around on a rope, then lets them go and flies off. If you look really hard you can see the rope stretched out behind the plane as it leaves the glider behind.
That kind is in the summer time with the blue endless sky.
Others are show planes that dive up and down trailing smoke.
Some are war planes for airshows that pass by this way. The air traffic is particularly bad then. Sometimes we run outside hearing a really horribly loud plane, expecting it to be a huge grey warplane, but it turns out to be a normal passenger plane flying a little lower than usual. Planes are annoying.
Sometimes I wonder if they can see us from the sky. At the beach a little biplane came overhead and we scratched out a huge ‘HI’ in the sand and waved at it, just in case they were watching. Of course I will never know, but it could have made them smile. I can hope so.
I hope you have been enjoying my photography of Urban and Suburban things. I have been enjoying yours – I check out all the ‘like’s and go to your Urban photograph posts too. It is amazing to see everyone’s cities are so different, yet they will feel the same to everyone. Your photos will be as familiar to you as they are strange to me.
So Adios for now,

(ps I am off to eat a peppermint. I tried doing an interview once and there was a packet of peppermints on the table next to the laptop recording – we got the most amazing bloopers) 😄
